The South Carolina Stingrays completed a three-in-three home weekend against the Trenton Devils and the Charlotte Checkers for a week record of 3-0 and pushed their winning streak to an ECHL-best ten games. On Friday, the Stingrays hosted the Trenton Devils at North Charleston Coliseum and skated away with a 4-1 win. Defenseman Dylan Yeo netted two goals along with tallies from forward Trent Campbell and defenseman Zach Tarkir. The Stingrays locked horns with the Devils one final time on Saturday earning a 7-2 victory. Forwards Campbell, Keith Johnson, Gregg Johnson and Matt Fornataro each had multiple point games in the series finale. South Carolina wrapped up their fourth consecutive three-in-three weekend against Charlotte on Sunday and blanked the Checkers 4-0. Stingrays rookie forward Nikita Kashirsky recorded his first professional hat trick and goaltender Todd Ford knocked away all 25 Checkers shots for his first shutout of the season.

Defenseman Zach Tarkir stands 10th among ECHL defenseman with 16 points and is tied for first on the team with seven power-play points. Defenseman Dylan Yeo climbs to 13th among ECHL defenseman with 15 points.
Stingrays forward Matt Fornataro is currently on a five-game point streak (3g, 6a) and has six goals and eleven assists in his last nine games.
