
Everblades Post 1-2-0 Record Against Charlotte Last Week

Florida came from behind to erase a three-goal deficit last Wednesday in Germain Arena. The Everblades beat the Checkers 4-3 in overtime to claim their third victory over Charlotte in five tries. Charlotte got revenge over the weekend beating Florida 4-1 and 3-0 respectively on Friday and Saturday night.
The Everblades continue their six-game homestand this week with three games against the Wheeling Nailers. In their lone meeting this season, the Everblades topped the Nailers 4-1 on November 25 in Wheeling, West Virginia. Jacob Micflikier (3a) and defenseman Elgin Reid (1g, 1a) lead all scorers in the season series.

Wednesday, December 9 vs Charlotte Germain Arena 7:30PM
GAME NOTES: The Florida Everblades overcame a three-goal deficit to win in overtime 4-3. Ryan Lang (6) ensured the victory 2:36 into overtime beating Miika Wiikman low stickside. Brandon Buck led all scorers in the game with a three-point effort (1g, 2a). Goaltender Mike Morrison (6) picked up the win relieving starter Barry Brust and stopped 19 of 19 shots.
Friday, December 11 vs Charlotte Germain Arena 7:30PM
GAME NOTES: The Charlotte Checkers snapped a two-game slide versus the 'Blades with a 4-1 victory. JC Chabot, Kenny Roche, David Marshall and Randy Rowe accounted for the Checker tallies. AJ Thelen recorded the lone goal for Florida. Brandon Buck and Jordan Morrison chipped in assists for the Everblades.
Saturday, December 12 vs Charlotte Germain Arena 7:30PM
GAME NOTES: Florida was blanked by Charlotte last Saturday for the first time at home and second time this season, 3-0. Checker netminder Ryan Munce stopped 47 Everblade shots to post his first shutout of the season. Kenny Roche scored two goals, including the game winner, while Mike Harder scored the other Checker tally.

Wednesday, December 16 vs Wheeling Germain Arena 7:30PM
GAME NOTES: This is the first-ever battle between Florida and Wheeling in Germain Arena. The 'Blades and Nailers met for the first time in history on November 25 in Wheeling and Florida prevailed 4-1. Ryan Lang (SH, GW) scored the game-winning goal and Jacob Micflikier chipped in three assists. Ross Carlson, Jordan Morrison and Elgin Reid provided the other Everblade goals.
Friday, December 18 vs Wheeling Germain Arena 7:30PM
GAME NOTES: Florida is 1-0-0 against Wheeling this season. The Everblades and Nailers meet three times this week to finish off the four-game regular season series. Goaltender Chris Beckford-Tseu recorded the win in net for Florida on November 25 stopping 19 of 20 shots.
Saturday, December 19 vs Wheeling Germain Arena 7:30PM
GAME NOTES: The Everblades and Nailers meet for the third and final time this season. It's Direct Impressions team poster night for the first 5,000 fans through the gate.
