Bakersfield Condors News Release
Bakersfield, Calif. - The Bakersfield Condors, official ECHL affiliate of the Anaheim Ducks, announced today they have sent D Patrik Prokop to the Utah Grizzlies to complete the transaction that brought D Evan Stoflet to Bakersfield last Tuesday.
Prokop, 21, is in his rookie season in the pro ranks, and has appeared in seven games this season for the Condors, with no points, 11 penalty minutes and a +1 rating. Prokop signed with the Condors over the summer after concluding a successful career in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, in which he was coming off back-to-back QMJHL championships and Memorial Cup appearances in 2008 and 2009. He had been on the 7-IR since Dec. 4, and was activated prior to being sent to Utah.
Stoflet made his Condors debut over the weekend against his former club, in two victories on Friday and Saturday night which ran the Condors team record home winning streak to ten games.
