Johnstown's Bartlett Suspended One Game, Fined

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL announced that Johnstown forward Mike Bartlett was suspended for one game and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL game #233 against Elmira on Dec. 11.

Bartlett was assessed a major penalty and a game misconduct for checking from behind at 1:22 of overtime.

Bartlett was automatically suspended and fined under Rule 44.5 - Checking >From Behind.

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.

Bartlett missed Johnstown's game against Gwinnett (Dec. 12).
