Kalamazoo Growlers Host First Make a Difference Monday of the Season
June 6, 2016 - Northwoods League (Northwoods)
Kalamazoo Growlers News Release
KALAMAZOO, MI - Following the team's series with the Battle Creek Bombers, the Kalamazoo Growlers return to Homer Stryker Field this evening to host the team's first Make a Difference Monday of the season, presented by Cole Automotive. Make a Difference Monday is a weekly promotion and one of the Growlers most successful community programs. Each Monday game this year, half of all walkup ticket sales will be donated to the nonprofit of the evening. This week's chosen charity is Touchdown for Diabetes. Funds raised by Touchdown for Diabetes go towards diabetes research and care, and all proceeds stay in the greater Kalamazoo area.
Tonight's game will begin at 7:05 pm, with gates opening at 6:00. This week the Growlers promotional lineup also features Education Day, Ladies Night, and WWE Night with an appearance by WWE star Matt Hardy.
