K-Wings' Duffy Heads to Bridgeport

Kalamazoo, MI- The Kalamazoo Wings, proud member of the ECHL and affiliate of the National Hockey League's New York Islanders and American Hockey League's Bridgeport Sound Tigers, announce defenseman Matt Duffy has been reassigned to the Bridgeport Sound Tigers of the AHL.

Duffy being reassigned to Bridgeport marks the eighth time this season that a member of the K-Wings has been sent up to the AHL.

On the season, Duffy has earned 4 points (2 goals, 2 assists) and has a plus/minus rating of plus-two in 24 games this season with Kalamazoo.

The K-Wings will continue their road swing this Wednesday, January 12th with a 7:30 p.m. encounter against the reigning Kelly Cup champions, Cincinnati Cyclones at the U.S. Bank Arena.

Kalamazoo will return to Wings Stadium on Friday, January 21st with a 7:30 p.m. face-off versus Cincinnati on Culver's Night and Frugal Fan Friday, featuring $1 beers and $1 hot dogs.

Single-game tickets for all regular season home games are currently on sale at the Wings Stadium Ticket Office.
