ECHL Announces Fines, Suspensions

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL on Monday announced the following fines and suspensions.
Elmira ¬â¢s Mirasty Fined, Suspended
Elmira ¬â¢s Jon Mirasty has been suspended for two games and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #317, Kalamazoo at Elmira, on Jan. 8.
Mirasty was assessed a game misconduct for continuing an altercation, as well as a match penalty, at 15:40 of the third period.
Mirasty is suspended under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline.
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players ¬â¢ Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player ¬â¢s Hardship Fund.
Mirasty missed Elmira ¬â¢s game against Reading on Jan. 9 and will miss Elmira ¬â¢s game at Toledo on Jan. 12.
Trenton ¬â¢s Dean Fined
Trenton head coach Kevin Dean has been fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions following ECHL Game #312, Trenton at South Carolina, on Jan. 7.
Dean was assessed a game misconduct at the end of the game.
Dean is fined under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline.
