Kalamazoo Wings News Release
KALAMAZOO- The Kalamazoo Wings and Old Burdick's Bar and Grill have created two great fan experiences.
Starting this weekend any fan attending a K-Wings home game through Wednesday, December 10th can register to win two tickets to the Detroit Red Wings game on December 16th versus the K-Wings' NHL affiliate, the Columbus Blue Jackets. The prize includes a special meet and greet after the game in the Red Wings locker room.
Fans of the Detroit Lions will want to head to Old Burdick's Bar and Grill (Wings West and Downtown) during any Thursday, Sunday or Monday National Football League game for the opportunity to receive two tickets to the Lions final home game of the season on Sunday, December 28th versus the Green Bay Packers. Besides the tickets the lucky fan will also receive a framed 16 x 20 autographed Calvin Johnson photo. Each Old Burdick's location will draw a winner on Tuesday, December 9th.
Old Burdick's Bar and Grill and the K-Wings are planning similar fan experiences early in 2015.
The K-Wings will remain at home tomorrow night, Friday, November 14th for a 7:30 p.m. face-off versus the Reading Royals on Zoetis Night. Every fan that comes to the game will receive a K-Wings Koozie courtesy of Zoetis. Friday's game will be a 3, 2, 1 Countdown to Fun featuring $3 beers, $2 Pepsi products and $1 hot dogs courtesy of Winter's Sausage. The K-Wings will continue the economically friendly 3, 2, 1 Countdown to Fun promotion during every Friday home game during the regular season.
The five-game home stand for the K-Wings will conclude this Saturday, November 15th with another 7:30 p.m. encounter against the Royals. Saturday will be the 2nd Annual Bell's Blue Ice Game, featuring Bell's Winter White Ale. Kalamazoo will be wearing special Bell's jerseys that will be auctioned off following the game with the proceeds benefiting Gryphon Place.
Tickets for all K-Wings home games are currently on sale at Wings Stadium Ticket Office, all Ticketmaster locations, including www.ticketmaster.com or by calling (800) 745-3000.
Fans that plan on attending multiple games can avoid service fees plus enjoy a discount from the single-game price by purchasing a 12, 24 or 36-game flexi-plan. These plans along with group ticket packages (15 or more people) may be ordered through the K-Wings front office by calling (269) 743-6011.
