Lafranchise Heads Back to Utica

KALAMAZOO- For the second time this season defenseman Kane Lafranchise has been recalled to the American Hockey League's Utica Comets.

Lafranchise has recorded three assists in five games this season with the K-Wings.

With being reassigned to the Comets, Lafranchise becomes the fifth member of the K-Wings this season to either be called-up or loaned to an AHL team.

The K-Wings will remain at home tomorrow Friday, November 14th for a 7:30 p.m. face-off versus the Reading Royals on Zoetis Night. Every fan that comes to the game will receive a K-Wings Koozie courtesy of Zoetis. Friday's game will be a 3, 2, 1 Countdown to Fun featuring $3 beers, $2 Pepsi products and $1 hot dogs courtesy of Winter's Sausage. The K-Wings will continue the economically friendly 3, 2, 1 Countdown to Fun promotion during every Friday home game during the regular season.

The five-game home stand for the K-Wings will conclude this Saturday, November 15th with another 7:30 p.m. encounter against the Royals. Saturday will be the 2nd Annual Bell's Blue Ice Game, featuring Bell's Winter White Ale. Kalamazoo will be wearing special Bell's jerseys that will be auctioned off following the game with the proceeds benefiting Gryphon Place.

Also starting this weekend any fan attending a K-Wings home game through Wednesday, December 10th can register to win two tickets to the Detroit Red Wings game on December 16th versus the Columbus Blue Jackets. The prize also includes a special meet and greet after the game in the locker room.

Tickets for all K-Wings home games are currently on sale at Wings Stadium Ticket Office, all Ticketmaster locations, including www.ticketmaster.com or by calling (800) 745-3000.

Fans that plan on attending multiple games can avoid service fees plus enjoy a discount from the single-game price by purchasing a 12, 24 or 36-game flexi-plan. These plans along with group ticket packages (15 or more people) may be ordered through the K-Wings front office by calling (269) 743-6011.
