July Fourth Showdown At Victory Field Sold Out

INDIANAPOLIS -- Wednesday night's Fourth of July contest between the Indianapolis Indians and Louisville Bats is sold out. A limited number of standing-room-only tickets will be made available at game time (6 p.m.).

Tickets for the final four games of the homestand are still available by going on-line at www.IndyIndians.com, visiting the Victory Field Box Office at 501 W. Maryland Street or calling Ticketmaster at 317-239-5151.

Indianapolis hosts Norfolk in 7 p.m. games on Thursday, Friday and Saturday before wrapping up the series with a 2 p.m. matinee on Sunday.

A family of four can enjoy Indians Baseball and dinner at the ballpark for just $52 on Thursday. The Ticketmaster Family package, which must be purchased through IndyIndians.com or Ticketmaster, includes four box seats, four Indians hats, four hot dogs and four soft drinks.

The Tribe will treat fans to another post-game fireworks spectacular on Friday night, while the zany, hysterical and unbelievable ZOOperstars make their first stop at the ballpark on Saturday evening. The homestand finale will be a Souvenir Sunday as the first 4,000 fans receive an Indians Beach Towel.

Indianapolis, which owns the International League's best home record at 26-14, has won 17 of its last 21 games at Victory Field. The ballpark's seating capacity is approximately 14,500.
