
July Fourth Kicks off Loaded Homestand against the Iowa Cubs

INDIANAPOLIS - An Indianapolis summer tradition returns to Victory Field on Monday, July 4 when the Indianapolis Indians open a six-game homestand with the Iowa Cubs, Triple-A affiliate of the Chicago Cubs. The Indians are scheduled to play at home on the Fourth of July for a 25th time in Victory Field's 26-year history.
Monday, July 4 - July Fourth Celebration presented by AES Indiana
The sights and sounds of America's favorite pastime come to life during the July Fourth Celebration.
Jim Cornelison will make a special appearance to perform the national anthem, God Bless America and Take Me Out to the Ballgame. He will sign autographs in the Center Field Plaza from 5-5:30 PM, and his bobblehead will be available for purchase in the Hot Corner Gift Shop. Cornelison, who earned his master's degree from Indiana University, has been the national anthem singer of the Chicago Blackhawks since the 2008-09 National Hockey League season and is one of the most recognizable national anthem voices in the country. In addition to the Blackhawks, Cornelison has sung the national anthem for hundreds of sporting and public events including the Chicago Cubs, Chicago White Sox, Chicago Bears, Chicago Bulls, Indiana Pacers, Indianapolis Colts, Monday Night Football, IndyCar and NASCAR, among others. Cornelison has also performed Back Home Again in Indiana at the Indy 500 annually since 2017.
Before and during the game, DJ Nicolas Rage will perform on top of the home dugout and from the Elements Financial Club. After the game, stick around for the biggest fireworks show of the season followed by the city's annual downtown fireworks. The Indians will wear special Stars & Stripes hats that are available for purchase online and in the Hot Corner Gift Shop.
Gates open at 5 PM with first pitch at 6:15 PM.
Wednesday, July 6 - Youth Clinic presented by Peterman Brothers and Toyota, BMV 2-For-1 Night presented by Indiana BMV, Bark in the Park presented by Noah's Animal Hospitals and PetSuites, Eli the Bat Dog presented by Sit Means Sit Kokomo
Kids 14 and under with a ticket to the game may participate in the annual Youth Clinic as Indians coaches and players teach the fundamentals to baseball and softball. Gates open at 5 PM and demonstrations begin at 5:10 PM. Parents may ask coaches questions during the demonstrations.
Fans may visit in.gov/bmv to receive a coupon code good for two (2) tickets for the price of one (1).
Bring your four-legged fan to the ballpark and enjoy the game from the right and center field lawn. Fans must purchase the dog ticket package in advance, which guarantees one (1) giveaway item for the pup. Dog ticket packages are limited. Fans also get the opportunity to watch Eli the Bat Dog retrieve players' bats during the first three innings of the game.
First pitch is at 7:05 PM.
Thursday, July 7 - Thirsty Thursday presented by Sun King Brewery, Circle City Night
The best drink specials happen on Thirsty Thursday at Victory Field. Quench your thirst with $2 Pepsi fountain drinks, $3 domestic drafts and $5 premium and craft drafts. DJ Lockstar will perform pregame on the home dugout, and on the field, the Indians will represent the 317 for the fourth Circle City Night of the season by wearing Circle City jerseys.
Exclusive to Circle City Nights, the Indians partnered with local retailer, The Shop Indy, to bring fans the Circle City t-shirt collection. These limited-edition shirts are only available to fans who purchase a special t-shirt package or upgrade in-park at the Advance Ticket Window. The Shop Indy will be onsite to provide fans with a screenprinting experience at the Standings & Lineup Board behind Section 108. The Indians also partnered with Penn & Beech - Indy's local candle company - to bring four baseball-inspired scents into fans' own homes.

Friday, July 8 - Friday Fireworks presented by FOX59, Wine Night presented by Daniel's Vineyard, Carl Erskine Night presented by Special Olympics Indiana and Carey Forward Communications LLC
Join Daniel's Vineyard for an evening filled with wine, giveaways and Indy's Most Instagrammable backdrop. Daniel's Vineyard will be tasting its portfolio of wines in the Center Field Plaza from 6-9 PM and will be giving away concert tickets, gift cards and apparel.
The Indians will share testimonials given by Vin Scully, Mitch Daniels, Slick Leonard and others about Indiana native Carl Erskine, who played alongside Jackie Robinson and won a World Series championship with the Brooklyn Dodgers in 1955. This summer the film The Best We've Got: The Carl Erskine Story will be released.
Stick around after the final out and enjoy a spectacular postgame fireworks show.
Gates open at 6 PM ahead of the 7:05 PM first pitch.
Saturday, July 9 - MARVEL Super Hero Night with Doctor Strange presented by Damar
The first 2,500 fans through the gates receive a Doctor Strange comic giveaway that features Indians slugger Mason Martin on the cover. The Indians will wear Doctor Strange jerseys that will be auctioned off to benefit Indianapolis Indians Charities. Fans must be in-park to bid on the jerseys.
Gates open at 6 PM, and the game gets underway at 7:05 PM.
Sunday, July 10 - Sunday Characters with Daniel Tiger and Katerina Kittycat presented by MHS, Kids Eat Free Sunday presented by Aquafina and Meijer, Knot Hole Kids Club Baseball Cap Giveaway presented by Riley Children's Health
Bring the kiddos to meet two of their favorite TV characters from Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood - Daniel Tiger and Katerina Kittycat - in the Center Field Plaza. Every Sunday, all children 14 and under receive a free hot dog, bag of chips and bottle of water with price of admission. In addition, the first 500 Knot Hole Kids Club members will receive a baseball cap at the Standings & Lineup Board. This is the first opportunity for Knot Hole members to receive the July giveaway item. Knot Hole members may also run the bases after the game.
Gates open at 12:30 PM before first pitch at 1:35 PM.
