JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Thanks to 13 hits and four home runs, the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp pounded out a 10-4 win over the Memphis Redbirds Wednesday night at AutoZone Park.

Memphis (42-32) plated a run in the ninth but fell well short. With one out, Austin Romine singled and went to second two batters later on a walk from Ben DeLuzio. With two outs, Moises Gomez singled, scoring Romine but Gomez was thrown out trying to stretch out a double to end the game, 10-4.
The Jumbo Shrimp got the early lead against Redbirds starter Aaron Brooks (L, 3-4). Encarnacion led off with a single in the second and Bleday (16) launched a two-run home run to put Jacksonville ahead 2-0. Leblanc (11) immediately followed with a solo home run to make it a 3-0 advantage. Miller and Aviles Jr. singled and a groundball from Santiago Chavez allowed both runners to advance to second and third. With one out, Joey Wendle hit a sac fly, scoring Miller to push the lead to 4-0.
The Redbirds slowly started their climb back. With two outs, Gomez singled and then scored on as Alec Burleson reached on a fielding error to cut the deficit to 4-1.

Romine singled to load the bases and a wild pitch allowed Coulter to score from third. In the following at-bat, Evan Mendoza reached on an error which allowed Spangenberg and Romine to score making it a 4-3 ballgame.
Jacksonville responded in the seventh with a run. Miller (2) got to work quickly as he led off the inning with a solo home run pushing the Jumbo Shrimp lead to 5-3.
