Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders News Release
MOOSIC, PA. - The Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders, Triple-A affiliate of the New York Yankees, will welcome Jose Canseco to PNC Field this Tuesday night, June 19, as part of the 2018 Legends Series. He will participate in two meet and greets as well as a home run derby exhibition while in Moosic.
Canseco, the 1988 American League Most Valuable Player and a six-time All-Star, will sign autographs and will dazzle during the home run derby exhibition. Fans can submit a guess to the RailRiders social media, trying to guess the distance of his longest home run in the exhibition, to win prizes, including an autographed Canseco SWB jersey. Fans in attendance can also attempt to beat his home run totals in the RailRiders VR batting cage to win additional prizes, like New York Yankees tickets.
