The Durham Bulls (36-27) host the Gwinnett Stripers (28-35) in the opener of a four-game series at the DBAP. Yonny Chirinos (0-0, 3.86) is scheduled to start against Kolby Allard (4-2, 2.22) with first pitch scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
Durham began the six-game homestand with a pair of losses to the Charlotte Knights over brief two-game series. It marked the second time this month the Bulls have lost two consecutive games, falling two straight to Pawtucket (6/3) and Scranton W/B (6/5).
Durham holds a 2.5 games lead on Norfolk (33-29) in the South Division. Gwinnett is fourth in the division, sitting 8.0 games back of first place.
