Jonas Siegenthaler Re-Assigned to Bears

(Hershey, PA) - The Washington Capitals announced today that defenseman Jonas Siegenthaler has been re-assigned to the Hershey Bears. The announcement was made by Washington senior vice president and general manager Brian MacLellan.

Siegenthaler, 21, has appeared in 14 games with Hershey this season, registering two assists and 14 penalty minutes. He has also skated in 25 games with Washington this season, tallying four assists and 10 penalty minutes. He made his NHL debut on Nov. 9 versus Columbus.

The Zurich, Switzerland native has appeared in 102 career games with the Bears, scoring 15 points (six goals, nine assists). He was selected by Washington in the second round of the 2015 NHL Draft.

The Bears host Charlotte on Saturday at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 5 p.m. at the Giant Center. Ticket information is available at HersheyBears.com.
