Lagace Rejoins Wolves

February 8, 2019 - American Hockey League (AHL) - Chicago Wolves News Release

GLENVIEW, Ill. - The Chicago Wolves announced Friday that goaltender Max Lagace has been returned on loan by the NHL's Vegas Golden Knights.

The 26-year-old Lagace spent most of the last month with Vegas and appeared in one game -- rejecting 27 of 31 shots in a 5-2 loss on Feb. 1 at Carolina. In 19 games for the Wolves this season, Lagace has posted a 9-6-3 record with a 2.79 goals-against average and an .899 save percentage. In his last appearance for the Wolves, Lagace posted a season-high 39 saves on Jan. 26 at Cleveland.

Lagace's return means the Wolves will carry three goaltenders for this weekend's road trip. Chicago heads to Milwaukee for a 1 p.m. game Saturday that will be broadcast on CW50, then travels to Grand Rapids for a 3 p.m. Sunday game against the Central Division leaders that will stream on AHLTV (WatchTheAHL.com).

The Wolves' next home game happens Sunday, Feb. 17, against the Iowa Wild. The Family Sunday celebration features free Brookfield Zoo admission tickets for the first 1,000 kids to enter Allstate Arena. To enjoy the best ticket deals, visit ChicagoWolves.com or call 1-800-THE-WOLVES.
