Johnson On The Move To Binghamton; Two Return From Bridgeport

ELMIRA, NY - The Elmira Jackals, proud member of the ECHL, announced today that right wing Chaz Johnson has been loaned to the Binghamton Senators of the American Hockey League.

In separate transactions, the Jackals received defenseman Chris Busby and right wing Luke Fulghum from Bridgeport (AHL). Both players were loaned to the Sound Tigers following Saturday's 4-3 win over Cincinnati.

Coming off of his first professional hat trick Saturday night, Johnson leaves Elmira and heads back to Binghamton with a seven-game point and three-game goal scoring streak intact. In 30 games this season with the Jackals, Johnson has 12 goals and six assists for 18 points and 109 penalty minutes.

Fulghum, appearing in his first AHL contest since April 7, 2007, was scoreless in Bridgeport's 3-1 loss to Binghamton. Busby did not dress for the contest.

The Jackals are back in action with a pair of games against the Wheeling Nailers Friday and Saturday. Game time is 7:35 p.m. both nights and good seats remain for the final contests before the All-Star break.
