Three Recalled To Manchester

Reading, PA - The Reading Royals of the ECHL, affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings of the National Hockey League and the Manchester Monarchs of the American Hockey League, today announced that the Monarchs have recalled defenseman Jeff Likens and forwards Vladimir Dravecky and Petr Kanko. Likens, Dravecky, and Kanko, who were assigned to Reading on Sunday, proved to be impact players in the Royals' 5-3 win over the Cincinnati Cyclones yesterday. Likens and Dravecky each picked up an assist in that game. In a separate transaction, the Monarchs reassigned forward Ned Lukacevic to Reading. In another transaction, the Royals released defenseman Adam Wood.

The Royals return to action on Friday night (7:30 pm) against the Trenton Devils at the Sovereign Bank Arena in Trenton, New Jersey. The game night broadcast tonight will kick off with the pre-game warm up show at 7:00 pm on ESPN Radio 1240 in Ephrata, as well as on the internet through the Royals website (www.royalshockey.com). Streaming video is available on a pay per view basis through the B2 Networks.
