LAST WEEK: Fresno went 3-0-0 last week, completing a three-game sweep in Las Vegas, then winning a pair of games at home against Phoenix. The Falcons are 20-9-4 on the season for 44 points and are in second place of the Pacific Division, nine points behind the first-place Wranglers.

Tuesday, January 8 @ Las Vegas FALCONS 2 Wranglers 1 (OT) The Falcons won for the third straight game in Las Vegas, prevailing in overtime in all three. Jason Jozsa got the Wranglers on the scoreboard with a power-play goal 11:30 into the first period, but the Falcons pulled even before the period ended on a power-play goal from Jarrett Konkle at 16:54. That was all the scoring for regulation as the game went to overtime. In the extra session, Tyler Kindle fired a shot past Las Vegas goaltender Daniel Manzato from the left-wing circle at 2:30 to lift Fresno to the win.

Friday, January 11 vs. Phoenix FALCONS 5 RoadRunners 2

Fresno returned home, and scored the game's first four goals on its way to a 5-2 win in front of a season-high crowd of 10,669 at Save Mart Center. P.O. Beaulieu and Mike Ramsay staked the Falcons to a 2-0 lead after 20 minutes, and Matt Stefanishion and Ramsay added to the lead with goals in the first 10:20 of the second period. The RoadRunners got back in the game with two goals before the end of the period, but the Falcons got one back, as Jarrett Konkle tallied just 1:33 into the third period to set the final. Jake Moreland picked up his 10th win of the season, turning aside 21 Phoenix shots.

Sunday, January 13 vs. Phoenix FALCONS 6 RoadRunners 0

Jake Moreland stopped all 24 Phoenix shots to record his ninth career shutout as the Falcons rolled over the RoadRunners 6-0 on Sunday. Matt Quinn led the offense for Fresno, scoring two goals and adding an assist, while Mike Ramsay, Brady Leisenring¸and Igor Gongalsky all had two-point nights for the Falcons.

THIS WEEK'S GAMES

Wednesday, January 16 @ Stockton 7:00 p.m.

The Falcons and Thunder meet for the third time this season, in the rescheduled date for the game on November 11 which was postponed due to ice conditions. The two teams have split the first two meetings this season, giving Fresno a 16-3-1 all-time record against Stockton. The Thunder are in third place of the Pacific Division with a record of 16-17-2 for 34 points.

Saturday, January 19 @ Victoria 7:05 p.m.

Sunday, January 20 @ Victoria 1:05 p.m.

Fresno makes its first of two visits this season to Victoria to take on the Salmon Kings. The Falcons are 2-1-1 against the Salmon Kings this season, and 16-6-4 all-time. Victoria is in first place of the West Division with a 22-9-4 record for 48 points.

The Falcons are back at Save Mart Center on Friday, January 25, hosting the Idaho Steelheads at 7:30 p.m. The first 2,000 fans in attendance receive a Falcons All Star Poster, courtesy of Dumont Printing, Central Valley Business Incubator, 95.7 The Fox, and ABC 30. Following the game, join the Falcons for a post-game party at Logan's Roadhouse, located at 7507 N. Blackstone Avenue.
