
Johnny Klein Makes Permanent Transfer to Monterey Bay

Charleston Battery News Release
The Charleston Battery announced Tuesday the permanent transfer of midfielder Johnny Klein to USL Championship side Monterey Bay FC, pending league and federation approval. Per club policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Klein appeared in 16 matches for Charleston across all competitions in 2025, tallying one goal and one assist.
The club thanks Johnny for his contributions to the Battery and wishes him well in the next chapter of his career.
