Syracuse, NY (February 17, 2008) - The Syracuse Crunch announced today that the Columbus Blue Jackets have assigned left wing Joakim Lindstrom to Syracuse.

Lindstrom, 24, has appeared in 38 games for the Crunch this season, racking up 20 goals, 27 assists and 54 penalty minutes. Lindstrom has also appeared in 14 games for Columbus this season, tallying 2 goals, 4 assists and 10 penalty minutes. A native of Skelleftea, Sweden, Lindstrom was drafted by Columbus in the second round, 41st overall, in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft.
