Moose Re-assign Kelly to Victoria

The Manitoba Moose, the AHL affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks, announced they have re-assigned defencemen Matt Kelly to the Victoria Salmon Kings of the ECHL.

Kelly, 22, has played in seven games with the Moose this season and has collected two penalty minutes in that time. The native of Tottenheim, ON has also played in 32 games this year with the Salmon Kings where he's scored four goals and eight assists for 12 points and 34 penalty minutes. In just over two seasons as pro, he has played in 91 games in the ECHL - all with Victoria - where's scored 13 goals and 23 assists for 36 points and 74 penalty minutes. In 10 career games with the Moose, Kelly has an assist and two penalty minutes.
