Jets Recall Adam Pardy; Place Jacob Trouba on Injured List

The Winnipeg Jets today announced they have recalled defenceman Adam Pardy from the St. John's IceCaps of the American Hockey League. The Winnipeg Jets also announced they have placed defenceman Jacob Trouba on the Injured Reserve List retroactive to Oct. 18/13.

Pardy, 29, has played in three games with the IceCaps this season where he has accumulated nine penalty minutes. The native of Bonavista, NF has played in 200 career NHL games with Calgary, Dallas, and Buffalo over eight seasons where he scored 33 points (4G,29A) and collected 171 penalty minutes. He also played in six Stanley Cup playoff games with Calgary in 2009 where he collected a pair of assists. Pardy was originally drafted by the Flames in the sixth round, 173rd overall in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft.
