Adirondack Phantoms News Release

The Adirondack Phantoms are proud to announce that the Phantoms Power Hour radio show will be hosted live by the Recovery Sports Grill of Queensbury. The show is scheduled for several Tuesdays at 7:00 PM and will air live on the team's flagship radio station, Classic Hits Q101.7.

The season premier show will take place on Tuesday, October 29 at 7:00 PM with player-guest Zack FitzGerald answering questions from the fans! Yes, we wanted our debut show to be a big one. So we're bringing the popular "Fitzy" on live to answer all your questions about what it's like to be in a hockey fight and what does he think about his extraordinary popularity in the North Country!

The other questions for Fitzy? They're up to you! Last season we had fans submitting some pretty off-the-wall stuff for our players. And the crazier the questions were, the more fun we had on the show!

"I'm extremely excited to bring the show live to the fans this season," radio-show host and Voice of the Phantoms Bob Rotruck said. "Recovery Sports Grill is incredibly popular and well known in the region so I know our fans will be pumped to attend shows there. I'm pumped too! Being in front of a live audience will make the show even better. And the fans who come join us at Recovery will be in for a really good time."

It's going to be a blast. The Phantoms Power Hour LIVE from Recovery Sports Grill in Queensbury taking place on several Tuesdays throughout the season at 7:00 PM. See you there!

Here's the schedule of our Tuesday night shows throughout the season. Mark your calendars. Or just stay close to facebook and twitter because we will be reminding you on there as well.

25 Terrific Seasons

Glens Falls is celebrating its 25th season hosting an AHL team and in so doing now joins an elite group of only 12 other cities who can make such a claim. It's a great hockey tradition with an old-school feel that began with the Adirondack Red Wings in 1979 who won four Calder Cups in their 20-year run at the GFCC. The Adirondack Phantoms began play in Glens Falls in 2009-2010 and are beginning their fifth season.
