Jeff Taffe Suspended; Frantisek Lukes Re-Called From Idaho

WEST VALLEY CITY, UTAH * The Utah Grizzlies, in conjunction with the American Hockey League (AHL), announced today that Grizzlies forward Jeff Taffe has been suspended for four (4) games as a result of an elbowing incident in Houston during the game on November 28th.

Taffe will miss tonight?s game versus Chicago as well as the game tomorrow versus Chicago, Friday versus Cleveland and Saturday versus Grand Rapids.

In a separate announcement, the Grizzlies have re-called left wing Frantisek Lukes from the Idaho Steelheads. In 11 games Lukes has posted two assists. This is his second call-up with the Grizzlies. Previously, Lukes dressed in three games not recording a point.

The Grizzlies host the Chicago Wolves tonight at the ?E? Center with face-off scheduled for 7:05 PM.
