Isotopes Held Scoreless in Oklahoma City

The Isotopes (49-54) were shut out for the ninth time this season as the Oklahoma City Dodgers (56-44) came away with a 5-0 victory on Wednesday at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.

Oklahoma City's pitching limited Albuquerque to six hits for the night with David Dahl and Elliot Soto collecting the only multi-hit performances.

David Holman was charged with the loss on the mound despite registering his second straight quality start. The right-hander yielded three runs (one earned) and five hits in 6.0 innings. Holman held the Dodgers scoreless in the first four frames before OKC took the lead in the fifth on Edwin Rios' solo home run.

Albuquerque's defense recorded three outfield assists in the contest including two by Mike Tauchman. The 27-year-old has a compiled a career-high 11 outfield assists this season.

The series finale between the Isotopes and Dodgers will take place Thursday with Albuquerque right-hander Peter Lambert slated to make his fourth start at the Triple-A level. OKC will send Brock Stewart to the bump. The game is scheduled to get underway at 6:05 p.m.?
