Today's Game: The Oklahoma City Dodgers continue their three-game series against the Albuquerque Isotopes at 7:05 p.m. at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. The Dodgers lead the series, 1-0.
Last Game: The Dodgers scored three runs in the sixth inning as they came back to defeat Albuquerque, 3-1, Tuesday night in the series opener between the teams at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. The Isotopes quickly grabbed the game's first lead in the first inning when Ryan McMahon hit a RBI single to give Albuquerque a 1-0 edge. Albuquerque starting pitcher Jeff Hoffman held the Dodgers without a hit until Andrew Toles connected on a one-out single into left field in the bottom of the fourth inning. The Dodgers later took the lead in the sixth inning. Henry Ramos led off with a walk and advanced to third base on a Tim Locastro single. Yasiel Puig, who began a rehab assignment with OKC Tuesday, came up to bat next and hit a sacrifice fly to center field to score Ramos and tie the game, 1-1. Locastro advanced to third base on a one-out single by Toles before scoring on a RBI groundout by Donovan Solano. Kyle Farmer's RBI single into right field with two outs brought home Toles for a 3-1 lead. After allowing a run in the first inning, Dodgers starting pitcher Logan Bawcom held the Isotopes scoreless over the next four frames and four relievers followed with four scoreless innings. OKC reliever Edward Paredes (3-1) allowed one hit in a scoreless sixth inning with one strikeout to record the win. Brian Schlitter recorded his 14th save after stranding the tying runs on base in a scoreless ninth inning. Hoffman (4-5) was charged with the loss, allowing three runs on four hits over 5.2 innings with one walk and four strikeouts.
Today's Probable Pitcher: Drew Hutchison (3-1) makes his sixth start with OKC tonight and has held opponents scoreless in four of his five starts thus far...Hutchison pitched 5.0 shutout innings in his most recent start July 20 at Nashville. He allowed six hits and one walk, while racking up a season-high eight strikeouts. He exited the game with a 1-0 lead, but did not receive a decision as OKC went on to win, 5-4, in 10 innings...The scoreless outing marked Hutchison's second straight. In those two outings, he's thrown 11.0 scoreless innings while allowing 10 hits, with four walks and 12 strikeouts. Opponents have been held 2-for-19 with runners on base and 0-for-12 with runners in scoring position...Over his five starts with the Dodgers, he is 2-0 and owns a 1.80 ERA (5 ER/25.0 IP), allowing 23 hits and seven walks over 25.0 innings with 22 strikeouts...He began the 2018 season with the Philadelphia Phillies and was designated for assignment May 31 before being outrighted to Triple-A Lehigh Valley June 5. He rejected the assignment and became a free agent before subsequently signing with the Dodgers June 12...He made 11 relief appearances for the Phillies, going 1-1 with a 4.64 ERA over 21.2 IP and allowing 21 hits and 11 runs with 13 walks and 19 strikeouts...Hutchison has 93 career MLB appearances (74 starts) with Toronto (76 games), Pittsburgh (6 games) and Philadelphia (11 games)...He was originally selected by Toronto in the 15th round of the 2009 MLB Draft from Lakeland (Fla.) High School...Tonight is his first career appearance against the Isotopes.

The Dodgers and Isotopes are meeting for their lone series of the season and at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark for the first time since 2016...The Isotopes won the 2017 series in Albuquerque, 3-1. OKC won the series opener before the Isotopes won the final three games, including a 6-4 win in 10 innings in the series finale. Albuquerque outscored OKC, 32-25, and batted .315 over the four games. Kyle Farmer led the Dodgers by going 6-for-15 with three doubles, two homers, four RBI and four runs scored...Albuquerque also won the 2016 series at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark, 3-1. The Isotopes outscored the Dodgers, 14-7, and OKC batted just .174 during the series...Going back to 2015, the Isotopes have taken eight of the last 12 games against the Dodgers...Tonight the Dodgers are seeking back-to-back wins against the Isotopes for the first time since 2014.
The Wild Horse Gets Back in the Saddle: Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Yasiel Puig began a rehab assignment with OKC Tuesday. He finished 0-for-2, grounding out twice before notching a sacrifice fly in his final plate appearance...Puig was placed on the DL with a right oblique strain July 9 after suffering the injury during a swing the day prior. This season Puig is slashing .265/.325/.462 with 11 homers and 35 RBI over 76 games with LAD...He last appeared with OKC in 2016, batting .348 (24x69) with four homers and 12 RBI over 19 games.
Farm to Plate: Kyle Farmer connected on a RBI single Tuesday night and has now hit safely in nine of his last 10 games, batting .375 (15x40) with seven doubles, a homer, nine RBI and six runs scored. Farmer has also hit safely in 15 of his 18 games since June 30...He paces the Dodgers with 23 hits in July (17 games) and 11 of those hits have gone for extra bases. His 10 doubles since July 3 lead all of Triple-A and are tied for fourth-most overall in the Minors.
For Whom the Bell Toles: Andrew Toles collected two hits last night for his fourth multi-hit outing in his last five games while playing with OKC. He has now hit safely in six straight PCL games, dating back to July 7. During the six-game stretch, he is 11-for-25 (.480) with three RBI, a homer and five runs scored...Through 38 games total with OKC, Toles is batting .338 (52x154) with 16 XBH, 23 RBI and 27 runs scored.
Welcome Back: Since returning from the Disabled List last week, both Tim Locastro and Donovan Solano have had noticeable impacts. Solano is 9-for-26 with a pair of games with three-plus hits, eight RBI and four runs scored over seven games total. Each of his last four RBI have given the Dodgers the lead at the time at time he collected them...Locastro has hit safely in nine of his 10 starts, going 12-for-39 with 12 runs scored...July 15 was the first day both players were active, and since then, the team is 5-0 when both are in the starting lineup and 2-4 when one or neither is in the lineup.
'Pen Pals: Brian Schlitter collected his 14th save of the season last night, which ranks second-most in the PCL...Pat Venditte pitched a scoreless and hitless eighth inning last night and paces PCL relievers with a .169 opponent average this season, allowing 25 hits in 148 at-bats...Opponents are 2-for-15 against Edward Paredes over his first three outings since being outrighted to OKC. He has held PCL lefties this season 6-for-33 with no extra-base hits...Corey Copping has allowed one run over his first four Triple-A appearances (6.1 IP).
Around the Horn: The Dodgers are in a stretch of 14 straight games against Pacific Conference opponents. They are 9-6 against Pacific Conference teams so far in 2018, including 5-3 at home...Henry Ramos entered Tuesday's game as a pinch hitter in the sixth inning and went on to draw a walk, collect a hit and score a run. Ramos has now hit safely in five of his last six games, and in seven of his last nine games, going 10-for-27 (.370)...Of their 31 home wins, the Dodgers have trailed at some point in 16 games.
