Islanders Reassign Dal Colle to Sound Tigers

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (April 15, 2016) - The New York Islanders announced today that forward Michael Dal Colle has been reassigned to the Bridgeport Sound Tigers of the American Hockey League.

Dal Colle, 19, finished third on the Kingston Frontenacs of the Ontario Hockey League in scoring this season with 55 points (27 goals and 28 assists) despite playing in only 30 games. Dal Colle was traded mid-season to the Frontenacs from the Oshawa Generals where he had 25 points (8-17-25) in 30 games.

A first round selection (fifth overall) of the Islanders in the 2014 NHL Draft, Dal Colle won the Memorial Cup with Oshawa last season, scoring 31 points (eight goals and 23 assists) in 21 playoff games. The Woodbridge, Ont., native has posted 131 goals and 185 assists for 316 points in just 246 OHL games.
