
Brian Foster Reassigned by Wilkes-Barre/Scranton

WILKES-BARRE, Pa. - The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins announced today that they have reassigned goalie Brian Foster to the Wheeling Nailers (ECHL).
Foster has posted a 10-8-2-1 record in Wheeling this season, and went 3-1-1-1 before being recalled by the Penguins from the Nailers on Mar. 31, 2016. In seven games during the month of March with Wheeling, Foster has recorded a .920 save percentage, a 2.16 goals against average, and posted his first shutout as a Nailer with 30 saves on Mar. 22 vs. Toledo.
The Pembroke, N.H. native has appeared in nine games this season for Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, posting a 3.51 goals against average and .857 save percentage. The sixth-year pro recorded his first career AHL shutout with 30 saves in a 3-0 Penguins win at Syracuse on Dec. 19, 2015.
Foster will join the Nailers as they begin their first round Kelly Cup Playoffs series with the Florida Everblades.
The Penguins' next home game is against the Providence Bruins on Saturday, Apr. 14, and it is the last home game of the season.
