Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release

The Lehigh Valley IronPigs will try to snap their brief two-game skid when they host the Pawtucket Red Sox on Friday night. First pitch from Coca-Cola Park is set for 7:05 p.m.

LHP Adam Morgan (0-0, 1.80) gets the ball for the IronPigs in the series finale on Friday night. Morgan received a no decision on Friday at Syracuse after allowing one run on three hits while fanning nine over his five innings of work. The southpaw will be looking for his first Triple-A win since August 6, 2013 at Charlotte. Morgan was originally selected by the Phillies in the 3rd round of the 2011 draft out of University of Alabama.

RHP William Cuevas (0-1, 9.00) heads to the hill for Pawtucket tonight. The Caracas, Venezuela native was dealt the loss on Friday vs. Buffalo when he gave up six runs (five earned) on five hits to go along with three walks and four strikeouts in 5.0 IP. In three starts against the Pigs in 2015, Cuevas was 1-0 with a 2.50 ERA.

Through four games this season, Pigs C Andrew Knapp is hitting .417-1-2 (5-12). The young backstop has also drawn four walks and scored four runs in that span.

Following tonight's game will be a Friday Night Fireworks show presented by AT&T. The IronPigs will be wearing commemorative #42 caps in honor of Jackie Robinson Day and the caps will be raffled off after the game with proceeds benefitting IronPigs Charities.
