
IronPigs Look to Avoid Sweep against Clippers

The Lehigh Valley IronPigs will look to avoid the sweep on Wednesday night against the Columbus Clippers. First pitch of the series finale from Coca-Cola Park is slated for 7:05 p.m.
RHP David Buchanan (4-4, 4.54) gets the ball for the IronPigs in the series finale. The Atlanta native earned the win on Friday vs. Durham when he gave up one run on five hits while walking one and fanning five over six innings of work. Buchanan is 1-0 with a 3.79 ERA over his last three starts.
RHP Mike Clevinger (7-0, 2.81) will be on the bump for Columbus on Wednesday night. Clevinger got the win on Friday vs. Norfolk after allowing four runs on eight hits to go along with eight strikeouts in 6.0 IP. Back on May 11 against the Pigs, the right-hander gave up two runs on three hits over six innings of work in a 10-2 win.
Pigs 1B Brock Stassi has now hit safely in 13 of his last 16 games. In that time, Stassi is hitting .316-2-13 (18-57, 6 2B, 3B, 9 BB, 10 R).
The first 1,500 fans 17 and under in attendance will receive a "Clock in a Can" presented by Giant. Wednesday is also Jewish Heritage Night and Ladies Night at Coca-Cola Park.
