IronPigs Look for Second Straight over RailRiders

The Lehigh Valley IronPigs will look for their second straight win over the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders on Wednesday night. First pitch from PNC Field is slated for 7:05 p.m.

LHP Anthony Vasquez (7-5, 4.45) gets the ball for the Pigs on Wednesday. The southpaw was tagged with the loss on Wednesday at Syracuse when he gave up seven runs on eight hits while walking three and fanning a pair in 3.2 IP. Tonight will mark Vasquez's fourth start of the year against the RailRiders. In the previous 3 GS against maanger Dave Miley's squad, the San Antonio, Texas native is 2-1 with a 5.95 ERA.

RHP Brady Lail (1-1, 4.50) will be on the bump for Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Wednesday night. The right-hander got a no-decision in his last start on Friday at Rochester after surrendering two runs on four hits to go along with a walk and three strikeouts over 5.2 IP. Thus far over 3 GS with the RailRiders, opponents are just 2-19 (.105) with runners in scoring position against Lail. The No. 14 prospect in the NYY system according to MLBPipeline.com was selected as a 2015 Eastern League All-Star with Double-A Trenton after going 6-4 with a 2.45 ERA in 20 G, 19 GS.

Pigs catcher Logan Moore has hit safely in his last eight games, which ties a career-high that was previously accomplished from June 12-20, 2013 with Clearwater (A+). In that time, Moore is batting .464 (13-28)-0-2 with three doubles, a triple, three runs scored and a pair of walks.
