The Pigs (59-57) play the opener of a four-game series against the South's third-place Charlotte Knights (53-62)... With a 7-3 win yesterday in Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, the Pigs have started 2-0 on this season-long, 10-game road trip and are now 6-3 in their last nine contests after a 6-15 stretch from July 2-25. Still, the Pigs have posted just a 19-23 record since June 23... The Knights -- the White Sox top affiliate -- lost 9-0 at Norfolk to split a two-game series and finish 3-2 on a five-game, South Division road trip. Still, the Knights remain 12-6 since July 14. After starting 7-21, the Knights have posted a 46-41 record...

LHP Greg Smith (6-1, 1.94) will start for LHV against RHP Nick McCully (1-1, 9.00).

First-Pitch is at 7:15 p.m. at Charlotte Knights Stadium.
