Bats Host Billy Hamilton Bobblehead Giveaway

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The Louisville Bats will be giving away Billy Hamilton bobbleheads to the first 2,500 paid admissions (one per person) at the Saturday, August 10 game at 6:05 p.m. Gates at Louisville Slugger Field for the contest against the Columbus Clippers, Triple-A affiliate of the Cleveland Indians, will open at approximately 5 p.m. Tickets are still available for the game.
On Sunday, the Bats will have their first ever 50-Cent Hot Dog Night. Gates will open at 5 p.m. for the 6:05 p.m. first pitch and hot dogs will cost just 50 cents for the entire game. The inflatable KidsZone will also be set up in the Hall of Fame Pavilion from 5-8 p.m. and kids may run the bases following the game.
The Bats will have four games in all this week. They host the Indianapolis Indians, Triple-A affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates, on Tuesday and Wednesday, both games at 7:05 p.m. The Bats then travel to Columbus for games on Thursday and Friday before hosting the Clippers on Saturday and Sunday. Both weekend home games will be at 6:05 p.m.
Entering play Monday, the Bats are 58-59 and in second place in the International League West, 8.0 games behind Indianapolis, but just 3.0 games behind the Pawtucket Red Sox in the IL Wild Card race. Center fielder Billy Hamilton still leads the IL with his 65 stolen bases, 30 more than Indianapolis' Felix Pie in second place.
