IronPigs Game Notes

June 25, 2012 - International League (IL1)
Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release

The IronPigs (43-32) play the finale of a four-game series against the second-place Columbus Clippers (37-40) at Huntington Park... With a 4-0 loss last night, the Pigs have dropped back-to-back games and have fallen to 4-3 on this eight-game, West Division road trip. Even so, the Pigs have now won 12 of their last 18 games and are 15-8 in their last 23 contests... The Clippers -- Cleveland's top affiliate -- have won back-to-back games while recording their fifth shutout. The reigning Triple-A champs are 10-7 in their last 17 games; but after starting 17-13, they've gone just 20-27 in their 47 affairs since May 8.

LHP Pat Misch (5-8, 4.33) will start for LHV against RHP Corey Kluber (6-6, 3.54).

First-Pitch tonight is at 7:05 p.m... Following the game, the Pigs come home for 12 games in an 11 days starting Tuesday.

Deja Vu?: Through 75 games in 2011, the Pigs also had a 43-32 record... but that was good for a 2.0-game lead in the North.
