Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release


The IronPigs (15-12) play the finale of a four-game series against the Charlotte Knights (14-14) at Coca-Cola Park... With a 6-5 loss last night, the Pigs fell short in a bid for a three-game winning streak and dropped to 4-6 on this 13-game "homestand"... The Knights -- the White Sox top affiliate -- snapped a three-game losing streak and improved to 4-6 on their 13-game road trip. The Knights have posted a 10-7 record since starting 4-7... The Pigs will next host Syracuse for a two-game series starting Saturday.

LHP Pat Misch (1-4, 6.56) will start for LHV against RHP Matt Zaleski (1-0, 2.57; 0-1, 4.09 in AA).

Tonight is Friday Night Fireworks, presented by Lehigh Valley Financial Group. First-Pitch is scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
