
Gwinnett Braves Homestand Highlights for May 5-14

LAWRENCEVILLE, GA. - The Gwinnett Braves return home to Coolray Field for a 10-day, 11-game homestand from May 5 through May 14. The G-Braves, currently leading the International League South Division by 4.5 games, will take on Charlotte (May 5-6), Buffalo (May 7-10) and Toledo (May 11-14). Cinco de Mayo Maracas (May 5), Bark in the Park (May 6), Fox 5 Fireworks (May 11) and a Brian McCann Bobblehead Giveaway (May 12) highlight the homestand.
Right-hander Jair Jurrjens, who fired 7.0 innings of one-run baseball on April 29 in his first start with Gwinnett since being optioned by Atlanta, is in line to start the opening game of the homestand on May 5 against Charlotte.
The G-Braves will play one doubleheader, coming on May 11 as the team makes up its April 30 postponement with Toledo. Both games are scheduled to last seven innings, with the first pitch scheduled for 5:05 PM.
