ROCHESTER, NY - The Rochester Red Wings and Empire State Yankees tonight host Day 4 of Baseball Month in Rochester at Frontier Field. The details for May 4:

GAME INFO: Rochester Red Wings (LHP Scott Diamond) at Empire State Yankees (RHP Ramon Ortiz), 7:05 p.m.

HOSTED ORGANIZATION IN SUITE: Providing Animal Welfare Services (PAWS), which provides a presence for dogs in need of a voice within the city of Rochester, New York;

and thus ensure New York State laws, designed to protect animals, are being upheld

RAFFLE ITEMS: Carlton Fisk autographed pitching rubber, Luis Tiant autographed photo, Tsuyoshi Nishioka autographed baseball,

SPIKES AND MITTSY APPEARANCE: State Road Elementary School (Webster, NY)

Raffle tickets will be sold through the fifth inning. They are $1 apiece, six for $5, and an arm's length for $10. Winners will be announced at the end of the sixth inning.

Fisk was inducted to the National Baseball Hall of Fame 2000. He enjoyed a 24-year career with the Red Sox (1969, 1971-80) and White Sox (1981-93), and was named American League Rookie of the Year in 1972. Tiant pitched 19 years in the majors, including two seasons with the Yankees from 1979-80.

Spikes and Mittsy have traveled 117 miles thus far during Baseball Month in Rochester.
