
Iowa Struggles to Find Rhythm in Loss to Austin

Des Moines, Iowa - The Iowa Wolves (2-4) failed to find rhythm on the offensive end in a 116-99 loss to the Austin Spurs (3-3) Friday night at Wells Fargo Arena.
Tonight marked the first game the Wolves were unable to eclipse the 100-point mark in a game this season.
Minnesota Timberwolves assignee Jaylen Nowell and Lindell Wigginton provided the offensive firepower for Iowa, scoring 22 points and 20 points respectively.
The Wolves struggled mightily in the first half, scoring just 33 points while falling behind quickly into double digits.
Iowa shot just 41.3% from the field and 26.7% from deep during the game.
Naz Reid collected his fourth double-double of the season, finishing with 18 points and a team-high 12 rebounds.
San Antonio Spurs assignee Luka Samanic finished with a team-high 21 points on 8-of-15 shooting for the Spurs. Quinndary Weatherspoon chipped in with 16 points.
Iowa hits the road next for a Tuesday night matchup against the Northern Arizona Suns at 7:30 p.m. CT.
