INF Matt Whitney to AAA Syracuse

Harrisburg Senators News Release
The Harrisburg Senators announce today that INF Matt Whitney has been promoted to AAA Syracuse. There is no corresponding move so the Senators will play with 23 players, one less than the maximum 24 allowed.
With this move, the Senators have just four players that have been on their roster all season long and they are LHP Justin Jones, LHP Cory VanAllen, INF/OF Bill Rhinehart, and OF Marvin Lowrance.
The Senators conclude the home portion of their 2009 schedule tomorrow night at 7pm against the Erie SeaWolves. There is a celebration of 23 years of Senators baseball at "old" Metro Bank Park planned before the game on Thursday night. Gates open at 5:30pm for the 7:00pm.
