Impact Faces the Vancouver Whitecaps FC on Sunday at BC Place

VANCOUVER, British Columbia - The Montreal Impact will face the Vancouver Whitecaps FC on Sunday, at 9:30pm EDT (TVA Sports, TSN, 98,5fm, TSN 690), at the BC Place, in the first of two games in Vancouver.

In this two-game series against the Whitecaps, in Vancouver, two scenarios will qualify the Impact for the final of the Canadian Championship, played against the winner of the Canadian Premier League Island Games:

Scenario 1: Win both games, while keeping a differential of +4 or more.

Scenario 2: Win both games, while keeping a combined score of 5-2, which will give the Impact eh same goal differential as Toronto FC. The Impact would reach the final because of the 5th tie breaker* of this competition: away goal differential.

*Tie breaker rule:

1) Points; 2) Total wins; 3) Goal differential; 4) Goals for; 5) Away goal differential; 6) Away goals for; 7) Home goal differential; 8) Home goals for; 9) coin toss or drawing of lots.
