Impact Donates Clothes All over Quebec and in Honduras
December 1, 2020 - Major League Soccer (MLS) - Club de Foot Montreal News Release
MONTREAL - For a third consecutive year, the Montreal Impact is proud to take part in the Giving Tuesday initiative by donating academy and first team clothes and uniforms to 17 organizations located in Quebec's 17 administrative regions, as well as to communities affected by the Eta and Iota hurricanes in Honduras, with the help of its Honduran forward Romell Quioto.
After Black Friday and Cyber Monday, the internationally recognized movement Giving Tuesday opens the Holiday season by putting sharing and generosity to the forefront. Every year, during the month of November, organizations, businesses, and individuals are invited to carry out a good deed, whether it's by giving time, goods, or money to the organization of their choice. During Giving Tuesday, let us aim to unite our community by encouraging our ability to take care of each other and empower ourselves.
In 2018, some of our players filled grocery carts and brought them to families within the Projet Harmonie organization. Last year, the Impact paid a very special visit to the kids at Centre lasallien Saint-Michel.
