
IceHogs Face off against Monsters for Final Time of Season

Rockford, Ill. - With game one behind them, the Rockford IceHogs (17-17-3-2) host the Lake Erie Monsters (17-14-0-3) for the second game of the weekend at 7 p.m. Rockford took the victory 4-3 last night at the BMO Harris Bank Center as these two clubs finish their four-game season series tonight.
The first, 2,500 fans to the BMO will receive a fleece blanket courtesy of OSF Saint Anthony. To purchase tickets, call (815) 968-5222, online through IceHogs.com or in person at the BMO Harris Bank Center Box Office or at any Ticketmaster outlet.
You can tune into tonight's game against the Monsters beginning at 6:30 p.m. with IceHogs Warm Up on Antenna TV 23.2, Comcast channel 436, Charter 970, Mediacom 101 or online at AHLLive.com.
With eight points in his last five games, Jeremy Morin leads the IceHogs against the Monsters tonight. The Auburn, New York native is Rockford's leading scorer against the Monsters this season with one goal and four assists in three contests. Going along with Drew LeBlanc, three goals and 1 assist against Lake Erie and on a three game point streak overall (2g-1a), the two forwards lead the IceHogs into tonight's season series finale against the Monsters.
On Lake Erie's side of the ice, leading scorer Mark Olver is on a five-game point streak (3g-5a) of his own, registering an assist last night against Rockford. With nine goals and 19 assists on the season so far, the Burnaby, British Columbia native will look to even the season series between the IceHogs and Monsters at two wins a piece.
Next Home Game: Wednesday, Jan. 15 vs. Abbotsford Heat. Game time is 11 a.m. With the Heat at the BMO for the last time this season, the IceHogs will play in front of a crowd of over 5,000 Rockford area school children. The annual IceHogs School Day Game.
