
Ice Pilots Pick Up Point With Overtime Loss

Pensacola, FL - The Pensacola Ice Pilots picked up a points with a 3-2 overtime loss vs. the Phoenix RoadRunners on Thursday night at the Pensacola Civic Center.
Phoenix scored the first two goals of the game with Ben Knopp scoring both. Knopp scored at the 11:19 mark of the first period and also scored on a breakaway goal at the 15:31 mark to the second period to give Phoenix a 2-0 lead.
The Ice Pilots tied the game at two. Adam Courchaine scored a power play goal at the 8 minute mark of the second period and Luke Fulghum scored at the 17:56 mark. Jake Riddle scored the game winning goal thirty seconds into overtime to give Phoenix a 3-2 overtime win.
The Ice Pilots had 26 shots on goal, 8 penalty minutes and went 1-4 on the power play. Phoenix had 26 shots on goal, 10 penalty minutes and went 0-3 on the power play. Todd Ford picked up the overtime loss in goal for the Ice Pilots and Mike Mole picked up the win in goal for Phoenix.
The Ice Pilots raecord goes to 16-22-5 for 37 points and Phoenix record improves to 15-24-3 for 33 points.

Phoenix again on Friday night at the Pensacola Civic Center at 7:05 p.m. Fans can
