* Gwinnett All-Star Guillaume Desbiens has four goals and six points in four games against the Checkers.
* Charlotte has scored 62.5 percent of its goals (5 of 8) against Gwinnett in the first period.
* Gwinnett is averaging 5.25 goals per game during current four-game winning streak.
* Checkers are first in the ECHL with 14 shorthand goals and Gwinnett is second with 12 shorthand goals.

Phoenix RoadRunners (14-24-3) at Pensacola Ice Pilots (16-22-4) 7:05 p.m. CT
* RoadRunners are 3-1-0 on current nine-game road trip and have won the last three games by one goal.
* Todd Ford had 42 saves as Pensacola ended five-game winless streak with 4-3 shootout win on Jan. 28.
* Phoenix's Justin Quenneville has a five-game scoring streak with five assists and eight points.
* Ice Pilots' defenseman Chris Heid has four points (1g-3a) and is +4 in his last five games.
