Ice Dogs, Union Bank of California Assist in Smiles

Long Beach Ice Dogs News Release


Long Beach, Calif. – December 5, 2002 – The Long Beach Ice Dogs organization, including several Ice Dogs players will be helping Union Bank of California in their Christmas party with a toy distribution and hockey lesson to underprivileged children Sunday at the Long Beach Arena.

Ice Dogs' female goaltender Danielle Dubé and defensemen Mike Kelleher, Jeff Marshall, Tyler Johnston and Roger Maxwell will teach the basics of hockey to underprivileged children from various Los Angeles County Boys & Girls Clubs. Ice Dogs forwards Tomas Kapusta, Jeff Ewasko, Jeff Attard, Robb Wismer, Pat Brush, Tomas Hradecky and Zdenek Vanc will also help out with lessons on sportsmanship and teamwork. Ice Dogs' mascot Spike will also be present to help distribute toys collected from various Union Bank of California locations in Los Angeles.
