Kingfish add Kaiman

The Baton Rouge Kingfish announced today that they have claimed defenseman Tom Kaiman off of waivers from Arkansas and waived Shawn and Wes Scanzano.

Kaiman began his rookie season with Arkansas where he picked up an assist in 23 games with the RiverBlades.

The Chesterfield, Missouri, native played college hockey for the past four years at Michigan Tech. He tallied 179 penalty minutes in 127 games during his four-year college career.

Kaiman should be available for Saturday's match up with the Pensacola Ice Pilots at the Riverside Centroplex at 7:05 p.m.

The Kingfish also waived forward Wes Scanzano and defenseman Shawn Scanzano. In 16 games this season, Wes tallied 5 goals and 5 assists for 10 points while Shawn had no points in 22 games.
