
Hurricanes to Face Warriors in First Round

LETHBRIDGE, AB - The Lethbridge Hurricanes Hockey Club, in conjunction with the Western Hockey League, has announced they will face the Moose Jaw Warriors in the first round of the 2023 WHL Playoffs presented by Stringam Law.
The Hurricanes clinched their seventh straight post-season berth on Wednesday setting a new team record for consecutive playoff appearances. Lethbridge will finish the 2022-2023 regular season as the fifth seed and will open the best-of-seven playoff matchup against Moose Jaw on the road on Friday, March 31st. Here is the complete schedule for the series:

The first-round match-up against the Warriors will mark just the third meeting all-time between Lethbridge and Moose Jaw in the WHL Playoffs and the first since 1997 when the Hurricanes ousted the Warriors in six games in the second round.
The previous meeting was in 1991 when Lethbridge defeated Moose Jaw in five games in the first round. In both playoffs, the Hurricanes went on to the WHL Final, capturing their only Championship in 1997.
Pay-As-We-Play 2023 WHL Playoff Ticket packages are now available for Season Ticket holders who can access and sign up for the playoff package by logging into their online ENMAX Centre Ticket account. Season Ticket holders must commit to the playoff package option by Friday, March 24th at 5:00pm MT. Playoff tickets are just $20 for adult and $12 for youth, when opting into the Pay-As-We-Play playoff package.
Individual playoff tickets will go on sale on Tuesday, March 28th at 10:00am. Playoff tickets begin at $23 for adults. Here is the playoff ticket pricing by round: Round 1 - $23 adult -- $14 youth Round 2 - $25 adult -- $16 youth Round 3 - $28 adult -- $18 youth Round 4 - $30 adult -- $20 youth

The Hurricanes will end the 2022-2023 regular season on Saturday when they visit the Red Deer Rebels at the Peavey Mart Centrium at 7:00pm.
