CEDAR PARK, Texas - The Austin Spurs hosted the Central Texas Annual Boys' High School All-Star Game on Friday afternoon as the Home all-stars defeated the Away all-stars 94-82 at Cedar Park Center.
For the Home team Jarrett Allen (St. Stephen's High School) and Cedric Sanders (McCallum High School) each posted a team-high 18 points, while teammate Julian Hodges (Westwood High School) recorded 17 points in the winning effort.
For the Visiting all-stars Armoni Brooks (McNeil High School) had 30 points, while teammates DeAnthony Owens (St. Stephen's High School) posted 16 points and Austin Duffin (Bowie High School) recorded 12 points.
"When putting together the game, we [Ray and I] wanted to showcase the talent that there is in Central Texas," Boys' Coach Kris Clack said. "I want these players to have the same opportunities to play Division I Basketball that I did."
