The Denver Nuggets announced Friday they have signed Raptors 905 guard-forward Axel Toupane to a multi-year contract.
Toupane signed a 10-day contract with Denver on March 3, then signed a second 10-day contract March 14. In 11 games with the Nuggets, he is averaging 3.0 points, 1.3 rebounds, 0.7 assists and 13.8 minutes.
In 32 games with Raptors 905 this season (14 starts), Toupane averaged 14.6 points, 5.6 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 29.7 minutes. He scored in double digits 26 times, led the team in bench scoring on 11 occasions and recorded two double-doubles.
